Countryside Alliance Cards, Raffles and Shooting Badges :: Christmas cards and note cards
For 2010 we have a spectacular range of Christmas cards available and again for this year we are honoured to have a number of reputable artists lend us their work and even paint exclusively for us.
The inimitable Charles Church has again very kindly allowed us to use two of his illustrations, Fantail Dove and Farmyard Goose which make up a lovely duo in a handy twin-pack containing five of each design.
One of the country's leading artists Daniel Crane has been enormously generous and given us permission to use his charming 'Landmark' and 'Lengthening Shadows', I'm sure you'll agree, they both lend themselves beautifully to our range of Christmas cards for this year.
To add some festive humour to the selection we have chosen one of Jonathan Walker's celebrated illustrations – The Carolers, by kind permission of Sally Mitchell Fine Arts Limited.
For our traditional hunting card this year we have chosen an illustration from an artist that has a remarkable history. Ninetta Butterworth AKA 'Vixen' began painting horses at the age of four. She grew up in Jersey and having bravely survived the German occupation during WWII later moved to Devon where she worked in hunt stables and hunted with the Silverton and East Devon Foxhounds.
Lastly we have not one but two designs – 'Roe Deer in the Gateway' and 'Winter Partridge' painted exclusively for us by Berrisford Hill, one of the UK's most prestigious sporting and wildlife artists and a charming fellow to boot!
